Spiritual Care

I often forget that I can’t say “yes” to everything and that trying to often makes me ineffective.  Focus is necessary and prayerfulness can help discern where I and where a community can best serve.  Prayer is also an important part of witness; lament and honesty help us to get through the difficult tasks of our work in the world.  In focusing, praying, and living boldly and honestly into a shared future, we can create churches that are elbow deep in the world, yet rooted in Something Greater.
