Our theme for the month of September is COMMUNITY! In September, we traditionally celebrate Homecoming, or the start of the "church year" in September with a fun day of activities and food after church.
This week, we're talking about Paul's letter to Philemon and reading a book published by Amnesty International called "Dreams of Freedom." This book, assembled with quotations from famous champions of human rights and illustrations by many different artists, explores the rights to freedom that all of us have and deserve.
This is a story for Children and Families at Peace UCC.
This lesson is for the Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost (Proper 18). We are talking about Paul's letter to Philemon.
This week we're reading "Dreams of Freedom" by Amnesty International.
This book will be available during worship on Family Worship Sunday and at Kids' Night Out!
